Skills Assessment and Certification

TESDA pursues the assessment and certification of the competencies of the middle-level skilled workers through Philippine TVET Qualification and Certification System (PTQCS). The assessment process seeks to determine whether the graduate or worker can perform to the standards expected in the workplace based on the defined competency standards. Certification is provided to those who meets the competency standards. This ensures the productivity, quality and global competitiveness of the middle-level workers.

TESDA has a Registry of Certified Workers which provides information on the pool of certified workers for certain occupations nationwide.

ISAT is an accredited assessment center and has competency assessors who conduct competency assessment process for persons applying for certification.

The Assessment Service of TESDA is  a special project to broaden the access of poor but deserving students and workers to TESDA;s assessment and certification services. It is implemented by TESDA to ensure that job-ready students and workers obtain certification as an additional credential for job opportunities, and to maintain and improve the standards of qualification

What are the requirements for application?

    Duly-accomplished Application Form
    2 Passport-size pictures

What are the Qualifications covered by assessment?

    Assessment shall cover only Qualifications with promulgated Training Regulations (WTR)

Who shall conduct the assessment ?

    Assessment shall be conducted by TESDA accredited assessors in our Assessment Center.

How much is the assessment fee ?

    The assessment is based on a cost of assessment is minimal.
